(1) Equipment enclosures

Use of enclosures for noisy machines can achieve a noise reduction of more than 20dB. An enclosure is lined with sound absorbing material, covering the machine as much as possible. Our enclosures are constructed from a variety of readily available building material such a s bricks, compressed strawboard and chipboard.

(2) Acoustic panel

Acoustic panel is placed in a path between the noise source and noise sensitive receivers. They can block part of the noise and create a relatively quiet zone at the receiver side. The noise reduction would be greater if the side facing the noise source is line with sound absorbing material. For maximum effectiveness, our panel is constructed from readily available building materials. An overall reduction of about five to ten decibels can easily be achieved by this measure.

(3) Silencers

Silencers are installed in the duct system, at either or both the inlet and the discharge of the ventilation system, to reduce the fan noise or air exhaust noise. Also they are shaped aerodynamically to streamline air flows at the entrance and exit. Installation of our silencers will not only greatly reduce the noise level, but also improve the air flows.

(4) Vibration isolation pads

Noise is usually generated by the excitation of vibrating machines and pipings. It is then transmitted along the structure and give rise to complaints. This problem is normally generated when a pipe is mounted directly to a structure of premises without any anti-vibration mounts. It can easily be reduced by installing anti-vibration mount or isolation pads. Moreover, the pads needed to be resistant to water brine, fungus, high temperatures, oil and bacterial growth. Thus, they can remain effective for a relatively longer duration.
